Mathematics and statistics are relevant to many discipline areas, but many students experience difficulties with them as they begin their university studies. We offer additional help to undergraduate students from all disciplines, in addition to support provided by your undergraduate programme. Drop-in support is aimed at foundation and first-year undergraduate students from all disciplines and programmes of study within the University, and at undergraduates from other year groups identified as having particular difficulties with basic mathematical and statistical techniques.
Fair use policy
Due to increased demand, we have introduced a fair use policy. Please take note of this before attending.
The Maths Support Centre service will be open for drop in maths support from Monday 20 January to Friday 27 March 2020. The service operates Monday to Friday 10.00-16.00 and is not open at weekends.
We can answer any questions for first year undergraduates. If you are undergraduate year 2 or above and require more specialist help, see our timetable showing when advisors will be present to help with more specific queries.
For any queries please contact firstname.lastname@example.org
We have a range of online courses and resources available covering various areas of maths and statistics.
If you've used the Maths Support Centre, we want to hear from you.
