eJournals and eJournal articles

eJournals and eJournal articles can be accessed from FindIt@Bham. If you want to find a specific eJournal you know we have access to, you can search for it using the main FindIt@Bham homepage.

  • Set the Search Filter to eJournals & eBooks Only (it is set to Everything by default)
  • Type the title of the eJournal in the Search bar, and press Return.
  • Select the record for the eJournal in the results list and click the link under View It to access it, ensuring that you have noted any additional access requirements under Public Notes. You can then browse the issues of the eJournal on the eJournal platform and access eJournal articles. 

Find a specific article

If you want to find a specific eJournal article you know we have access to, you can search for it using the main FindIt@Bham homepage.

  • Set the Search Filter to Article Search (it is set to Everything by default)
  • Type the title and author of the eJournal article in the Search bar, and press Return.
  • Select the record for the eJournal article in the results list and click the link under View It to access it, ensuring that you have noted any additional access requirements under Public Notes

Browse eJournals and articles

If you want to browse our available eJournals and eJournal articles, perform keyword searches on FindIt@Bham with the Search Filter set to eJournals & eBooks Only or ArticleSearch respectively to locate eJournals and eJournal articles on particular subjects and themes. See our further guidance on using FindIt@Bham to search for eResources.

You can also browse our available eJournals and eJournal articles by using BrowZine. To access BrowZine, click on the eJournals tab of FindIt@Bham. Once on BrowZine, you will be able to search eJournals and eJournal articles by title and ISSN and browse our eJournal holdings by subject.  

eJournals and articles on resource lists

In addition, eJournals and eJournal articles that are required reading for a module will be available from the resource list for that module. Go to ResourceLists@Bham, sign in with your University email and password, and search by module title, module code, or module lead to find the resource list associated with your module. Once on the resource list, find the eJournals and eJournal articles and click the View Online button to access them.
