Room Booking
Do you want to use one of the meeting rooms in the library for group study, meeting or any other academic project? If so, please complete our booking form (providing at least 48 hours’ notice).
Borrowing
You can borrow items using the self-issue machine in the library. Items must be issued to your account before you leave the building. You must have your University ID card to borrow items.

The below tools will help you find the books you need. If you can't find a book, speak to staff on the desk and we can help you try and find it.

The resource list for your course will show you all of the books recommended for your course and also give information about their availability.

You can also search for books directly using our catalogue. Note the classmark of any item you want to borrow and use this to locate it on the shelves in library.

Scanning
If you are conducting wider research and need to consult part of a book we hold at our UK campus, we can scan a chapter or a portion of the book and send it to you electronically. Make a scanning request. Please note that books held at our UK campus cannot be sent to the Dubai campus.
Online resources
A wide range of electronic resources are accessible through FindIt@Bham Dubai, including databases, ejournals and ebooks. Many electronic resources will require you to log-in using your ADF username and password.

Borrow a laptop
We offer our students 24 loanable laptops as part of Dubai Library services, which you can borrow from lockers in the locker room 1214.
The laptops are supported by IT Services and have the same software as the library PCs. Please approach the IT service desk on the first floor if you need any support.
