I need to update my emergency contact details, how do I do this?
How do I add or update my Emergency Contacts?
You can update your existing emergency contacts or add new ones in My Details in the MyUoB App.
To add a new emergency contact:
- In My Details, select "Emergency Contacts" from the drop-down menu. This will open the Emergency Contacts page. Click on the "Add New" located on the top right-hand side of the panel to add your Emergency Contact.
To update an existing emergency contact:
- In My Details, select "Emergency Contacts" from the drop-down menu. This will open the Update Emergency Contact page.
- Click on the pencil icon for the emergency contact you wish to edit.
Note: If you are under 18 years old, you will be unable to amend your primary emergency contact.
Why do I need to select a priority for my emergency contacts?
- The order field details the priority in which your contacts will be notified in an emergency.
- If you have multiple Emergency Contacts, you can amend the priority by selecting a record and updating the Order value. This will re-order the priorities of your other Emergency Contacts.
Note: If you are under 18 years old, you will be unable to change the priority of your primary emergency contact.
