Can I use the library while I am on a leave of absence?
While you are on leave of absence, your student registration status will be amended to "Leave of Absence" for the duration of your absence, and as a result, your library access will be limited. However, you may still be able to use the libraries and their physical collections as a regular member of the public. UoB Library allows entrance to members of the public (for a maximum of ten visits over 12 months and this does not include borrowing books).
Please note that once you are on leave of absence, you will not be able to use the electronic collections (such as e-books, e-journals and online databases).
