I think I am eligible for the Chamberlain Award, when will I hear? (2023 Starters)

We begin approving Chamberlain Awards for first year students from June. If you have been approved for the Chamberlain Award, an online notification will be sent to your Student Finance account. It takes some time for the University to approve all of the awards; therefore, you can expect to receive your letter any time from June to November. If you have not received notification of your entitlement to a Chamberlain Award by 1 November and you believe that you should be eligible for an award, please contact us. Please wait until 1 November before contacting us as not all notifications will have been sent before this date. You will need to get in touch with us to report your issue before 31 December in order for your case to be considered.

Your ongoing eligibility for the Chamberlain Award is assessed automatically by the University on an annual basis at the beginning of each academic year. Therefore, if you have previously received the Chamberlain Award, you are not guaranteed to receive it in your following years of study.

In order to remain eligible for the Chamberlain Award you must continue to meet the Chamberlain Award eligibility criteria for your year of entry to the University as published on our website: please visit our dedicated webpage for more information on the Chamberlain Award.
