Starting university is a big moment, and we want to make it as comfortable and memorable as possible. That’s why we’ll be hosting a Welcome Party at The Vale, where you can expect a weekend of fun, food, and new friendships.

Let’s celebrate your first weekend with us
Whether you’re moving in for the first time or returning for another exciting year, this is your chance to meet fellow students, make new friends, and get to know your new home surroundings a bit better.
A proper Brum welcome
The Welcome Party is a great chance to socialise and settle in, which is why we’ve organised plenty of things to do and enjoy, including:
- Live music – including a DJ
- Delicious food and drinks to keep you fuelled (there will even be an outdoor ice-cream van!)
- Fun activities to break the ice (board games, photos with props, quiz night)
- A warm, friendly atmosphere to help you feel right at home
