We recognise that, whilst coming away to University is a very exciting time for students, it can nevertheless be quite stressful for parents and carers, so we hope that this information will be helpful and will answer some of your questions.
Academic Services offers a wide range of support to students registered at the University; details of these services can be found within the FAQs on these pages, which will also help you navigate to relevant detailed information in our website.
The University recognises the need to protect students' data and information and in line with the Data Protection Act 2018 is unable to release any information about a student to a third party without their written consent to do so.
Some of our services do offer consultations with parents and carers where there is a need to work together in support of a student and this will be initiated by the student.
