When will I receive my degree certificate?
On the day if you graduate in person, or via post if you did not attend your graduation. We will use the address you entered at registration – if you need to check or amend this address please do so via the ‘Update Addresses and Telephone Numbers – Select Address’ page in Online Registration by 31st December (for December graduates) and 31st July (for July graduates). Any updates made after this time will not be accepted.
We start posting the certificates in January (for December graduates) or August (for July graduates) and use ordinary untracked services. If your certificate does not arrive at your delivery address by March (for December graduates) or October (for July graduates) then you have three months from the date of your graduation to inform us and request a free replacement. After this you would be required to purchase a replacement form our online shop. Please note that certificates are sent in batches; therefore, friends and colleagues may receive their certificate before you.
Alternatively, if you need your certificate sooner than the above timeframe, you can purchase DHL Tracked Delivery via the University’s Online Shop – please note that you must place any orders by 31st December (for December graduates) or 31st July (for July graduates). Any orders made after this time may still be charged, but not processed.
