What does status mean?
This reflects your registration status within the University. You must be 'Provisionally Registered', 'Expected to re-register', 'External re-sit', or 'Thesis Awaited' to complete Online Registration.
- 'Provisionally Registered' students are new students who have met the terms of their offer, but have not yet completed Online Registration.
- 'Expected to re-register' students are returning students progressing to their next year of study.
- 'External re-sit' students are usually those who are resitting a year of study externally to the University
- 'Thesis Awaited' students are postgraduate research students who are in the 'writing up' phase of their programme of study
Once you have completed Online Registration, you will be considered 'Normally Registered'. There are a small number of other statuses which may apply to students in specific situations, but those listed above are the main categories.
