Does the University offer any financial support to students who are in receipt of DSA?
As the Government does not fund the first £200 of any DSA-required computer or laptop for English students, the University has decided to offer any of these students who are in financial difficulty £200 of financial assistance towards the cost of the required equipment. If you would like to apply for this award please contact disability@contacts.bham.ac.uk.
As part of the application process you will need to supply a copy of your DSA2 letter from Student Finance England. Applications may be submitted as soon as term begins.
