I have completed my FAFSA but I have not heard from the University of Birmingham. Why?
Unlike American Universities, the University of Birmingham, does not send financial aid offers based purely on the information entered in your FAFSA. If you wish to take out a Federal or Private US loan to fund your studies here, you will need to complete the seven steps listed on the application process webpage.
Please be aware that we cannot process any loan applications for the 2023/24 academic year until late June 2023. Once you have completed stage 3 of the process, you will receive an acknowledgement e-mail from the University. You will then receive a Cost of Attendance and a loan recommendation based on the information you have provided. You will also receive more information about the next stages of the application process.
