Why is my MyUoB calendar empty?
There are several reasons you may not be able to see your calendar events.
Timetabled events will only show in your calendar once your timetable has been released. You will see a message in MyUoB once your timetable is available. If you are not sure whether your timetable has been released yet, please contact your School/Programme Office (for joint honours this will be your home school).
You may not be registered on your modules. Please check that you are registered on the modules at 'My Registered Modules' on the Student Gateway. If your modules are not shown, please contact your School/Programme Office (for joint honours this will be your home school) and ask to be registered.
If you are correctly registered on your modules, please try the following:
- Log into https://mybhamtimetable.bham.ac.uk with your university email address and password
- In your browser, look at 2024/25 menu on right hand side, or on mobile, press the hamburger menu and 'Show your timetables'
- Can you see all of the modules you're registered on?
- Are they all ticked? Please tick them if not.
- Check MyUoB again.
If you have been through this process and your events are not showing in MyUoB or if any of your modules are missing, report a fault on the IT Service Portal.
The calendar shows a 24-hour view so students studying in different time zones can see all of their events. Scroll to your local time to see your events.
Before you can see events in your calendar, you need to give MyUoB access to your email and Canvas accounts. You will receive an error message in the calendar until you do this. You will have a notification alert in the top right-hand corner of MyUoB with a link to give access, or you can click directly on the calendar tile. If you are having problems with this, please see KB15081 on the IT Service Portal. Please provide a screenshot of the issue.
