I am a PGT student and need to apply for a dissertation extension. Will I need to pay any more fees?
You will not be required to pay any further tuition fee charges when granted an Extension to your Dissertation. The same applies if your new dissertation submission deadline remains within the current academic session or goes into the following academic session. If the latter is your situation then your registration status will be altered to External Resit. This status is to reflect that you have an outstanding assessment such as a dissertation which can be completed without teaching, and so fees are not charged.
