How do I access my alumni email account?
Once you have graduated you will automatically be given an alumni email address. When logging into your alumni email account, use your student username followed by the address: @alumni.bham.ac.uk.
Please be aware that you will only have access to your student account for 28 days after your course has finished - after this time your account will be closed.
If you are an undergraduate or a postgraduate taught student, you will be able to view any emails that were in your mailbox before the transition. However, if you are a postgraduate research student, you will be assigned a brand new mailbox which will not contain any information from your previous email account. Therefore, we strongly recommend that you backup any important files, other external media or cloud storage before the 28 days are over.
