I entered through Dublin so only received a green stamp in my passport. Do I still hold the Right to Study in the UK?
If you are a visa national (from a country that requires a visa before travelling to the UK) and you entered the UK via Dublin, your visa may not have been stamped. This is not a problem, please complete the option on the form which allows you to upload alternative evidence. This could be a stamp elsewhere in your passport, or a boarding pass, or flight details. This evidence must clearly state when you arrived in the UK as we are required to know you entered the UK between the dates permitted by your visa.
If you are a non-visa national (from a country that does not require a visa before travelling to the UK) you would not have received a short-term study stamp in your passport which allows you to study in the UK for up to 6 months. You will automatically have permission to be in the UK for up to 3 months from the date you entered the UK and NOT 6 months. If your course is longer than 3 months you will be required to leave the UK and re-enter ensuring you obtain a Short term study stamp at the airport before the end of your 3 month period. To complete the RTS check please upload alternative evidence of your arrival date in the UK, you will, however, be required to upload evidence of a Short Term Study stamp once you have received it.
