What information does the Proof of Study letter include?
Your Gradintelligence letter is a dynamic document that updates throughout your academic journey.
The letter is addressed TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN and contains the following information:
- your personal details
- your course details (name of programme, campus, language of instruction, and any intercalated qualifications you may have earned)
- dates of study (including expected end date for current students, any extension for supplementary exams, and if applicable thesis submission date)
- leave of absence dates (if applicable)
- home and term time address (for current students) graduation details (expected ceremony date if you have completed your course, graduation or award date once that has taken place, permitted number of guests)
- term date information
- It has the University of Birmingham header and footer and has been digitally signed by the Director of Registry and Education Support. It includes a statement that the University of Birmingham is a United Kingdom recognised body listed by the Department for Education and is registered by the Office for Students.
The official proof of study letter is verified and secure when shared with a third-party through Gradintelligence or it can be downloaded and printed out. Should a third party wish to confirm authenticity of your documents they can do this by contacting references@contacts.bham.ac.uk.
