How do I update my residence at time of admission?
Your residence at time of admission is the place that you were living when you were admitted to your course of study at the University of Birmingham.
Overseas Students (including EU Students)
This is the country where you were living when you were offered a place at the University - generally the country where you are permanently a resident.
UK (home) Students
This is the area of the UK where you are from - typically the county or metropolitan borough you were living in when you were formally offered a place at the University.
How to update your residence at time of admission
If no value has been entered in the residence at time of admission field you can select one of the options from the drop down menu and click the submit button. This will update your student record.
Please note:
You will not be able to update your Residence at Time of Admission in Online Registration if a value has already been entered (even though you will be able to view the drop down menu).
If you try to click submit having updated this field it will generate an error message and you will not be able to submit your changes to this form. If you need to change your residence at Time of Admission please click on the Contact Us button below and the Registration Team will assist you.
