What if I am no longer a student at the University?
The Code of Practice applies to all Registered Students of the University, Students on a Leave of Absence, External Resit Students, Thesis Awaited Students and Graduands.
The Codes of Practice, Policies and Guidance documents that apply to you, as a student, will depend upon the year in which you started your studies, this is referred to as Cohort Legislation and is explained further here on our Codes of Practice website.
However, it can be used by former students provided that the event(s) or issues raised took place while they were Registered Students and that exceptional circumstances prevented them from raising the matter within one month of the relevant incident.
