What happens once I have submitted my return form?

You will receive an email notification confirming that your application has been received.

If further information is required, you will receive an email with a link to a form where you can upload additional documents.

Home students:

If your leave of absence was for medical reasons and requires a medical check for you to return to your studies, a Wellbeing Officer will review your evidence, and you will receive an email informing you of the outcome of your request.

If your leave of absence was for non-medical reasons, or no medical check is required for you to return to studies (this will be noted in your original doctors note), your return request will be processed automatically and you will receive an email notification confirming your return date.

International students:

Your return request will be reviewed by IST, and if a medical check is required for you to return, it will then be reviewed by a Wellbeing Officer. You will receive an email informing you of the outcome of your request.
