What if I cannot attend my upcoming Degree Congregation but want to attend a ceremony in the future?
You will receive an email from the Graduation Team in September (if graduating in December) or February (if graduating in July) asking you to confirm your graduation preference by logging into the Student Gateway. After you log in you will find the link to 'Reply to Degree Congregation invitation' under the 'Exams and Assessment' heading. Select the option stating that you would like to defer your graduation to the next round of Degree Congregations by 23:59 (GMT) on 15 October (if graduating in December) or 20 March (if graduating in July).
Please note that by deferring your graduation you will not graduate, nor receive your certificate, until you graduate at the next round of Degree Congregations either the following July or December as applicable.
