How do I find out about postgraduate research activities, events or opportunities?
The easiest way to find out about what is happening in the University is to read the monthly postgraduate researcher newsletters from the University Graduate School and from your College. The University Graduate School also sends out the ‘What’s happening at Westmere’ email to all postgraduate researchers to inform them about relevant activities, events and workshops. These are delivered automatically to your University email account and compile all of the events, opportunities and activities that are relevant to postgraduate research. You can also check the UGS website for relevant events for postgraduate researchers.
Many University departments such as the UGS, the Westmere PGR Hub and academic departments promote relevant events and workshops for postgraduate researchers on Twitter and other social media outlets, so it would be a good idea to follow these departments to keep as up to date as possible.
