What is PGCARMS and who is eligible?
The Postgraduate Certificate of Advanced Research Methods and Skills (PGCARMS) is a postgraduate taught course designed to provide advanced training in research methods and transferable skills (e.g. teaching or entrepreneurial skills) to University of Birmingham postgraduate researchers.
We are no longer accepting enrolments onto the PGCARMS Programme from the academic year 2022-2023 onwards. Students who have registered onto the programme prior to this will continue to be registered on the programme until successful completion, having obtained 60 credits in total.
