Can you stamp my transcript?
All transcripts contain a signature from Director of Registry and Education Support at the University.
The University of Birmingham does not, however, provide a stamp directly onto a transcript, nor do we certify copies. However, if you have a copy of your transcript (original, photocopy or electronic copy), we can confirm in an email whether it is a genuine copy. If you would like us to do this, please use the Contact Us link below. Please attach a scan or photo of your transcript.
If you are asked to provide a stamped transcript, we can provide a letter explaining that we do not stamp transcripts. If you require one of these letters, please use the Contact Us button.
If you are ordering a printed transcript from us, we can stamp and sign the envelope flap if:
- You commenced your programme in 2002 or later, you can request this in the “Order Instructions” when checking your order out.
- You commenced your programme before 2002, please order using this link: pre-2002 transcripts, and indicate that you need the envelope flap stamping/signing when you see a box that says “Do you have any additional special instructions?" in the checkout process.
