How do I disclose a disability?
We encourage you to disclose any disability (including dyslexia and other specific learning difficulties, long term health conditions including mental health, physical or sensory impairments, and Autism spectrum disorders) at the earliest opportunity. This is so we can ensure that the appropriate support is put in place for you in good time and enable you to study to your full potential.
To disclose your disability on the disability details page in Online Registration:
- Step 1: Click the Edit button in the disability details panel.
- Step 2: Let us know if you have a disability by selecting one of the three options below:
- I have a disability
- No, I do not have a disability
- I do not wish to answer
- Step 3: If you have a disability, let us know which disabilities apply to you. You can select one or more options from a drop-down menu.
- Step 4: From the list of disabilities that apply to you, select the one that affects you the most.
- Step 5: Let us know if you are currently receiving disabled students’ allowance.
If you do not wish to disclose your disability at the time of Online Registration, you can disclose a disability at any point in time during your studies by contacting our Student Disability Service by clicking on the Contact Us button at the bottom of this page.

After you have registered, you will be able to update and manage your personal information, including your disability information, using My Details.
My Details is an online self-service platform that you can access from any location and at any time.
