What should I do if my proof of study letter is missing or wrong on the Gradintelligence website?
As a fully enrolled undergraduate or postgraduate (taught and research) student, you will be provided with a digitally signed electronic letter for each programme of study.
Gradintel offers you the convenience of viewing, downloading, and printing your letters, as well as securely sharing them electronically with potential employers.
Please note that when there are updates to your student record - such as changing your address or completing a course transfer - your letters are typically updated within a few hours.
There may be occasions when you are unable to view your letter, and we would like to assist you in resolving these issues.
Issues logging in with single sign on
If you are having trouble accessing Gradintelligence through single sign on, we recommend reaching out to the IT Service Desk, who will be happy to assist you.
Issues logging in not related to single sign on
If you are having trouble signing in to Gradintelligence with your login details, please initiate the account recovery process, and our team will be happy to assist you.
Registration status
Before you can activate your account, you will need to complete online registration. Once you have completed this process you will be able to view your letters.
I have logged into Gradintelligence but am unable to view my letter
As a fully enrolled undergraduate or postgraduate (taught and research) you should be able to view letters via Gradintelligence; however, there may be some instances where your letters are missing. In these circumstances we advise you to contact us at studentletters@contacts.bham.ac.uk so we can investigate.
I have accessed my letter and 'date not available' is appearing on my letter
Once you have accessed your letter through Gradintelligence, if you have 'date not available' appearing in a date field, please contact us at studentletters@contacts.bham.ac.uk so we can liaise with Registry and get your letter updated. We are aware that this may impact a small number of students, and the team are working hard to update the data at source.
