What is a Personal Learner Profile (PLP)?
A Personal Learner Profile (PLP) is an online tool designed to strengthen personal tutoring and enhance your overall student experience at the University of Birmingham.
Personalised Learner Profile will support you to understand your individual performance as you progress through the academic year. Personalised Learner Profiles will enable you to view your own data and use this information to start conversations with your tutors about academic performance, identifying areas that need further work and an understanding of how your learning is going.
Accessing your Personal Learner Profile (PLP)
Students will access their learner profile via the My UoB app. MyUoB is the official student app for the University of Birmingham - your go-to place for key University services, wherever or whenever you need them. Download for free to your Apple or Android device, or log in at myuob.bham.ac.uk.
You will access the Personalised Learner Profile using your University log in details and following normal authentication processes. When you have logged in, you will see the Personalised Learner Profile home page, where you can navigate to ‘support a student’.
