Do I have to stay here for the assessment period in January?

As you are in the school of [X], you do not need to be here during January exam period. As your host school will provide you with alternative assessments, which you will complete before you leave campus in December. Only students in the College of Engineering and Physical Sciences will need to stay on campus during that period.
