I want to extend my stay to full year
I hope you’re doing well.
If you wish to extend your stay for the full academic year, you will need to obtain approval from your home university. Please ask them to email us confirming your extension. We kindly ask that you provide this confirmation as soon as possible.
Once we receive the approval, we will begin the process for your extension firstly by checking the exchange agreement balance with your home university and connect you with the International Student Team to support you through the next steps.
Please note that if you are a European exchange student you will also be required to complete an approved English language test by [X] as a B2/C1 letter is not sufficient for full year. We will share more information about this after receiving your home university’s confirmation.
Lastly, if you decide to extend for the full year, you will need to be outside of the UK when you apply for the Student Route visa.
