How do I enter a new home address that is not in the UK?
A home address is your permanent place of residence and where you go back to when you are not in your term-time accommodation.
All students must have an active home address recorded in Online Registration [include new link]. After completing Online Registration, you can add a new address via My Details.
International Students should provide their home address in their home country.
Adding a new home address
- On the Address details page in Online Registration, click the “Edit” button on the Home Address panel.
- Click on “Add another home address”.
- From the “Country” drop down menu, select your home country.
- This will take you to the “Add home address” page. From the Country drop down menu, select the country where your home address is located.
- Add your home address in the fields provided. Ensure that you provide the first line of your home address and the City/County details as these are mandatory fields.
- Valid from date:
From the date picker, select a date that the address is valid from. This is a mandatory field.- Valid until date: From the date picker, select a date that the address is valid until. If you select a date earlier than or the same as the ‘Valid from date’, an error message will be displayed. You will need to select a future date to be able to save your address entry.
