On the Electoral Register, can I register both my term-time and home address?
As a student, you can register at both your term time and home addresses. If you don’t register, you won’t have your chance to vote and have your say on who represents you. Please remember however, you can only vote once at a Parliamentary Election.
If you have completed the Electoral Registration pages within the University of Birmingham accommodation portal then you do not need to complete this page for your term-time address. After you have checked in to your room your details will be available here. You can still use this page to register at your home address.
Not appearing on the register may affect your credit rating as credit reference agencies use the register as part of their checks.
