Our broad programme of events covers all your careers needs, from help with making career choices to meeting employers and succeeding in your job applications.

Some of these events will not be open to postgraduate students in the Business School and Department of Economics, but a full programme of tailored events are organised and run each term in the Business School by the Careers in Business team.

Alumni Leadership Mentoring – drop-ins for application support

B Start-Up Entrepreneurs Network

Description
Would you like to start a business? Do you have a start-up idea? Do you already have a business? The B Start-Up Entrepreneurs Network sessions are a great way to meet like-minded entrepreneurs and share tips and ideas. The session is also includes; bite sized training of about 30 minutes on this workshop's topic, brainstorming with 6-8 other entrepreneurs to give you ideas and practical answers to any problems with your business and help setting your business goals for the following week.This is facilitated by B Start-Up programme manager Paul Adams. This event is open to all students and graduates at the University of Birmingham, and aspiring entrepreneurs from West Midlands based Universities.
