Read more about the programme below.  Please note the internships have now closed, however, we will be opening another round of opportunities in October 2019 to commence in the autumn term.

The Impact Internships scheme is open to current final year students and graduates from the last two years.

The internships take place either in the autumn term or during the summer vacation.

The University of Birmingham is working with start-ups based in a number of innovation, research and creative hubs to create internship opportunities for students. This internship programme provides students with the opportunity to help shape and deliver the strategic plans of some of the most innovative start-ups across the Midlands. These businesses will have less than 250 employees.

“This internship has given me more of an insight into what needs to be done in terms of setting up a business and because of this opportunity I would I say I feel more confident if I was to go and do that.”
