Overview of Impact Internships

The Impact Internships scheme is open to current penultimate and final year students, as well as graduates from the last two years.

The University of Birmingham is working with start-ups based in a number of innovation, research and creative hubs to create internship opportunities for students. This internship programme provides students with the opportunity to help shape and deliver the strategic plans of some of the most innovative start-ups across the Midlands.  These businesses will have less than 250 employees.

COVID-19 - Important information

We are currently accepting applications for Impact Internships and are maintaining close contact with the organisations we are working with.  We have requested that remote projects are set up where possible, as a contingency plan if restrictions are still in place during the summer vacation.

This is currently an evolving and unpredictable situation and if anything changes we will communicate this out to applicants and ensure students are made aware.
