Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC) has an open access publishing agreement with the University of Birmingham. It allows UoB affiliated corresponding authors to publish open access at no additional cost in hybrid titles that offer a Gold OA option.
Eligibility criteria
- This agreement covers research articles accepted for publication from 1 January 2022.
- The agreement is only available for the following peer-reviewed article types:
- full papers
- communications
- reviews
- Further information on article types is available via the RSC website.
- The corresponding author must be affiliated to the University of Birmingham as designated on article submission, and ensure their @bham.ac.uk email address is used on submission to the journal. The University must also be stated as the affiliation in the author submission workflow.
- Any additional page, colour or other charges will not be covered through this agreement or the open access budget.
