Preparing for your thesis submission event

Research Student Administration (RSA) are hosting an event aimed at Postgraduate Researchers who are due to submit their thesis in the next 12 months. This is a drop-in session so you can attend at any point during the above times. There is no need to book a slot. 

This event will provide information and advice on the thesis submission and examination process including: 

  • Intention to submit
  • Submission forms
  • How to submit
  • Alternative format
  • Abstract and access
  • Viva examinations
  • Corrections and resubmission
  • Thesis binding
  • Requirements for award

There will also be staff from various University services on hand throughout to answer any questions you may have. This includes:

Who can attend?

We will be contacting all PGRs whose thesis submission deadline falls within the next 12 months to invite them to this event. However, all PGRs and staff who deal with PGR-related activity are welcome to come along to the event to ask any questions they may have and meet the teams.

Unable to attend this event in person?

Not a problem. We will also be hosting a live webinar where you can view a rolling presentation outlining the thesis submission and examination process.

You will also have the opportunity to ask questions and get answers from the above services.
