Casual worker holiday pay - changes from 6th September

From 6th September 2021, you will need to take action within Core Systems in order to be paid your casual holiday pay for any timecards submitted beyond this date. 

As you submit weekly hours on your casual timecard, a balance of annual leave hours will be accrued, allowing you to book holiday within the ‘Absence’ section of the Core System. This can be done at the same time as you submit your normal timecards. Payment for holiday booked will be made in the relevant payroll and should you not book any or all of your holiday during your assignment, the outstanding accrued leave for your assignment will be paid to you automatically when your assignment with the University is closed.
