This winter, we’re celebrating inspiration. The people, experiences, and moments that shape who you are and who you want to become. We’ll be sharing real stories from students like you, finding out where you draw inspiration from and inviting you to reflect on your journey.

Our "Warm Hug in a Mug and a Future Festive You Vision Board" will be taking place in the Christmas Marquee on 3rd December. Other events taking place on the 3rd December around campus include the following: 

  • Santa (as the star of the show!) in the marquee meeting with students for photos and a small gift.
  • The marquee will also have a Christmas photo booth and craft tables (where you will find Careers Network!)
  • Carousel on central campus (11:00 – 18:00) – free for students to take part in
  • Christmas market – taking place in Bramall (11:00 – 15:00)
  • Christmas light switch-on – Christmas tree & festoon lighting (17:00 – 17:15)
  • Artisan (food) Christmas market – around University square (11:00 – 20:00)
  • Carol Service – Great Hall (18:15 – 19:15 – doors open 17:30)
  • There will be some other exciting elements included as part of the 125 celebrations – tbc.
