Be Involved - Make your first move

University’s more than lectures and deadlines, it’s also about what you get involved in outside of your studies.

This month, we’re challenging you to make a move. Try one new thing:

  • Join a society where you can meet new friends and make connections
  • Network with employers at our careers fair
  • Volunteer to gain work experience
  • Sign up to The Birmingham Award to enhance your CV and stand out to future employers
  • Take on something totally different, push yourself out of your comfort zone and see where it takes you
