The "Masters Campus-based Team Internship (MCTI) - Engineering" is a work experience opportunity for Postgraduate Taught students in the College of Engineering and Physical Sciences.
An employer will set you a real-life challenge they are facing and you will have the opportunity to work within a team on the challenge the employer has set.
Each team will present their solutions and compete against each other to win the panel’s vote! The winning team will win a prize from the employer!
Please note this programme is only open to students from specific Schools and will be exclusively delivered on campus. Participation in the MCTI programme contributes towards hours for the Postgraduate Professional Development Award.
MCTI - Engineering is open to Postgraduate Taught Students from the following Schools in EPS:
- Chemical Engineering
- Chemistry
- Computer Science
- Engineering (Civil and Mechanical)
MCTI - Engineering Dates:
Welcome session: Wednesday 19 February 2025, 12:00 – 14:00
Employer Brief: Tuesday 25 February 2025, 12:00 – 14:00
Check-in session: TBC (likely between Friday 14 March and Tuesday 18 March)
Final Pitch Presentation: Friday 4 April 2025 11:00 – 15:00
Please note, attendance is compulsory for all sessions.
