Getting around the Old Gym
Welcome to the start of another jam-packed term here in the College of Life and Environmental Sciences. One of the main buildings you’ll have to use over the course of your studies will be the Old Gym, located on the ring road, just next to University Square. We know that the building is a little bit of a maze, so here’s our handy guide to what’s on each floor:
Lower-ground floor
Teaching spaces and rooms:

- LG12 (Lecture Theatre)
Please note that access to the Lower Ground floor is via the two side staircases only, easily accessible via the two side doors as you enter from the ring road.
Alternatively, you can use the accessible lift, found through the left side door as you enter from the ring road.
