The College Wellbeing team are a confidential, non-judgemental, and inclusive service for you to access throughout the duration of your studies. You can access your College Wellbeing Service in person, by telephone, and through online methods of communication such as Zoom.
How can we help?
- Emotional support – they offer appointments to discuss challenges you may be experiencing to your physical or mental wellbeing and offer tailored and sensitive signposting to specialist services both internal and external to UoB.
- Practical support – your Wellbeing team can provide information and advice on University processes such as Extenuating Circumstances, Extensions, and Leave of Absence, as well on topics such as time management, low level stress awareness, and mindfulness.
- Reasonable Adjustments - Your Wellbeing Service is also the first point of contact for students who have a Reasonable Adjustment Plan and can also provide information about applying for one.
Wellbeing Officers will always aim to encourage and empower you to engage with your studies and their guidance will be reflective of that approach.
