This information event is a great way to find out more about different sources of postdoctoral research funding in the social sciences and hear tips and advice from academics who have made successful applications to a range of sources including Leverhulme, the ESRC and the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR).

The event will open with a presentation on sources of postdoctoral research funding from members of the College of Social Sciences Research Office (CSRO); the second half will involve a round-table discussion with current academic staff who have held various postdoctoral fellowships, giving you the chance to ask any questions that you have.

Round-table panellists:

  • Dr Chloe Alexander: NIHR School for Social Care Research Fellow, Department of Social Policy
  • Dr Sanne Weber, Research Fellow and former Leverhulme Early Career Fellow, International Development Department
