Whether you are generating ideas to solve a problem in your organisation, kick off your business start-up idea or in a consultancy role, this workshop will help you develop your creative problem-solving skills and techniques for idea generation.

This 90-minute hybrid workshop has been designed to help PGTs and PGRs gain insight into creative problem-solving and the importance of this in the workplace.

You will come away with practical insights and tips you can immediately put in to practice during your academic studies, in one of our consultancy challenge programmes, or even take the first step developing your business start-up or for setting up as a freelancer.

By attending the session, you will gain:

  • Information about what creative problem solving is and the importance of this in the workplace and current climate.
  • Techniques to identify the root cause of a problem, generate ideas, and select the best solution.
  • Understanding the relevance of these skills in an academic and business setting.
  • Insight into recruitment processes and how these skills are assessed.

The session will be delivered by Nicola Gittins from the B-Enterprising Team.
