PGR Innovation Challenge 2024

Are you a PGR student?
If you answered yes, we have an exciting challenge for you.
Taking place on Edgbaston campus, the B-Enterprising team will host a series of 6 sessions over 2 weeks for you, where you will learn how to think more innovatively.
Working in multidisciplinary groups you will address and provide solutions to one of the United Nationals: Sustainable Development Goals.
You will be required to create a 5 minute presentation in teams of 3 or 4, which will be delivered to a panel of judges in person, on the final day of the challenge.
It is an opportunity for you to operate in non-academic context, utilising your intelligence and research capabilities to address socio-environmental issues which impacts the lives of millions globally.

Why would PGR students participate?
- To learn more about entrepreneurship
- To meet other PGR students from various disciplines in person
- To gain additional experience to enhance future employability
- To develop skills including teamwork, interpersonal skills, communication, organisation, leadership and commercial awareness

Challenge output
Students are expected to:
1) Create a 5 minute team presentation
2) Students are expected to write a 400 word individual reflectionPlease note: This opportunity is only open to Edgbaston based, PGR students.
