PGR Job Club

When you're busy with your Postgraduate Research, it can be difficult to set time aside for things like:

• Researching different career options;
• Working on your LinkedIn profile/ online networking;
• Working through our PGR Careers Beyond Academia Canvas course, or other careers resources;
• Writing job applications;
• Preparing for an interview.

Whichever of these stages you're at, PGR Job Club gives you an opportunity to set aside two hours to work on your next step. Like a careers-related version of 'Shut Up and Work,' you'll set your own goal for what you want to get done in the session, and will be able to ask for guidance from the PGR Careers Adviser and fellow PGRs.

You can also sign up to come along for a free lunch before the session, 12pm - 1pm, through the University Graduate School's PGR Lunch Club. If you'd like to do this, you'll need to register for lunch separately for the 8th February via the UGS Eventbrite page.
