Join the UGS PGT Ambassadors for this monthly film night: in March, we're continuing our LGBTQ+ history month celebrations with 'Pride'!

Based on a true story, 'Pride' depicts a group of lesbian and gay activists who raised money to help families affected by the British miners' strike in 1984, at the outset of what would become the Lesbians and Gays Support the Miners campaign. Starring famous British actors such as Bill Nighy and Imedla Staunton, the film is warm-hearted and funny, as well as telling an important true story of solidarity and comradeship.

Come along to G12 University House (O3 on the Campus Map) at 6pm: meet new people, and relax with a film, popcorn and snacks!

This PGT event welcomes students starting the following postgraduate courses in 2021-22: MA, MSc, MBA, MEd, LLM, MPH, Maths SKE, MPA, PG Affiliate, PG Certificate, PG Dip Ed, PG Diploma, and PGCE. It is open to students at the University of Birmingham only.
