In job descriptions employers often include adaptability, flexibility and/or resilience in their list of desirable attributes for a candidate.  But what does that mean?  Why would it make you a good employee?  How do you develop these abilities?  And how do you demonstrate that you have them?

In this ever-changing fast-evolving tumultuous world the ability to adapt to change and be resilient are highly desirable and useful skills.  Now more than ever there is a need to be personally resilient and organisations need to be professionally resilient.  Being able to adjust, deal with the unexpected and have the right mindset will be beneficial not just in your career but in all aspects of life.  emotional intelligence, the ability to understand, assess and deal with your own and others’ emotions, is also the new top skill employers are looking for.

In this highly interactive online workshop guest speaker Nigel Linacre, life coach, charity founder and author, will take you through the steps to become adaptable, resilient and emotionally intelligent.

This workshop aims to:

  • Teach you tools and techniques to be adaptable and resilient in the face of challenges, change and unexpected circumstances.

  • Help you understand how your mind works and the impact it has on your body, emotions and actions.

  • Make you more aware of thoughts, feelings and actions that help and those that don’t, and show you how you can change.

  • Explain what employers are seeking and how you can demonstrate your adaptability, resilience and emotional intelligence.
