PGR Essentials: Getting Started Induction + Insider Secrets (online)

If you have recently joined University of Birmingham as a postgraduate researcher (MRes, PhD etc.) - especially if you have joined in January - this is a session not to be missed. The session aims to bring new and current postgraduate researchers together to share useful tips about postgraduate life at the University of Birmingham. Whether it is planning the first year of your research degree, learning about useful postgraduate activities or managing your time, we will cover a wide variety of topics.

The event will include:

- Information on support for your research degree

- The teams and services that can support your skills development

- Practical tips on pursuing a research degree

- Opportunity to ask questions about the postgraduate research experience to current postgraduate researchers and members of staff.

This event is open only to University of Birmingham postgraduate researchers (PGR).

PGR programmes include: MPhil, MMus, MRes, MA by Research, MSc by Research, MLitt, PhD, PhD with integrated study, EngD, DDS, MD, Higher doctorates and Professional doctorates.
