PGR Lunch Club

The University Graduate School supports postgraduates at the University of Birmingham. We offer a variety of academic, social and wellbeing activities throughout the year.

This event is for postgraduate researchers (PGRs) - look out for our other events in our In-Person PGR Collection!

Join us at Westmere House, the PGR Community Hub, every two weeks for lunch. Times are getting tougher recently and many of us are cutting back on treats but we don't want you to miss out on opportunities to take breaks from work with friends. So join us for lunch on us!

We'll have a few different cold food options to suits a range of dietary requirements, alongside hot drinks. Please note that food will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. This is a chance to spend some time away from your desk, save some money and chat to new people all at the same time.

The Lunch Club is very informal, with no networking/chatting required but we hope you'll take the opportunity to engage with other PGRs.

I f you can, bring a mug for your hot drink and save us from using disposable cups.

This event is open only to University of Birmingham postgraduate researchers (PGR ).

PGR programmes include: MPhil, MMus, MRes, MA by Research, MSc by Research, MLitt, PhD, PhD with integrated study, EngD, DDS, MD, Higher doctorates and Professional doctorates.

Registration will close 15 mins before the event start time or when tickets are sold out. We will be checking attendees against the Eventbrite registration and you may not be able to access brunch items if we have met capacity and you are not on the list. We have limited capacity so please cancel your ticket if you can no longer attend.
