Postgrad Lunchbreak at Lapworth! (In-Person)
- Location
- The Barber Institute of Fine Arts
- Dates
- Friday 13 October 2023 (12:00-14:00)
Join this small group social to meet other postgraduates for a relaxing walk around the Lapworth Museum of Geology, followed by a coffee or tea on us at a nearby café - don't forget to bring some lunch for this portion of the event!
Situated within the Aston Webb building (R4 on the campus map), the Lapworth Museum of Geology holds the finest and most extensive collections of fossils, minerals and rocks in the Midlands. Dating back to 1880, it is one of the oldest specialist geological museums in the UK.
Lapworth has free admission. We will meet you outside its front door - we will hold a sign to make it really clear who is there to meet you!
This is a chance to spend some time away from your desk, see a different part of campus, and meet new people all at the same time. Walking can have a whole host of benefits for both your physical and mental health, including improving mood and reducing stress and anxiety.
